Installation Note 52555: SAS® Customer Link Analytics fails during configuration when the SAS® Deployment Wizard runs sia_apdm_config_wrapper.sas

During the SAS Deployment Wizard execution for configuring the SAS Customer Link Analytics Server, an error might occur:
SAS Customer Link Analytics Configuration Failed to Configure Successfully The SAS program, /SASFoundation/9.4/misc/clasvr/controlscripts/sia_apdm_config_wrapper.sas, failed.
This failure has been seen only during configuration of SAS Customer Link Analytics 5.5 and 5.6 on Linux versions SuSE 11 SP1 and SP2.
Workaround
To work around this issue, use the SAS Deployment Wizard to install the software first (do not select Configure). After the software has been installed, perform the following steps as the SAS Installer user:
- Change directory to $SASHome/SASFoundation/9.4/sasexe.
- Enter this command to create a soft link from libssl.so.9.8 to libssl.so.10: ln -s libssl.so.0.9.8 libssl.so.10.
After the link has been created, start the SAS Deployment Wizard and continue with your software configuration.
